My Opinions On Orbs.

I'd like a minute of your time to discuss those circular objects commonly found in flash photographs. Let me first say I am a believer of ghosts as well as UFOs and many cryptids. So with that, let's begin. I started experimenting with these anomalies early this year to see what I could make of it and so far, I have a few things to say. First off, There are several types of orbs that I have discovered which I'll walk you through.

First, there are the dust particles that many mistake for real orbs. This type is usually a dull gray with not much detail and are sometimes very hard to pick out of a picture.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next kind I believe is something paranormal. These are the brightly colored ones which appear to have a membrane around the outside. These aren't as common as the "Dustys" obviously, but do show up quite frequently. At least in my area. This kind can manifest in MANY different colors but are usually blue-ish or bright white. Even though they can also be pink, red and many other colors. I've even heard of black orbs but I've never seen one. Not even a picture. Although I saw a video which supposedly depicts a group of black orbs in broad daylight hovering around someones house but that may have been more UFO related than spirit or ghost related.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The third type is the rarest (at least out of the ones I see) of all. This type kind of reminds me of the Crab Nebula. They usually are green and red around the outside with a hole or dark spot on the inside.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now this last type of orb I'll tell you about is one I just discovered last night. They are spectacular little balls of light that seem to sit up in trees more than anywhere else. I am open to any kind of insight to these things as I am still very new to them. Now before you tell me what I've photographed is a reflection on some shiny surface or dust particles, remember this, I took the best photos of these while shooting pictures up into groups of trees. There was NOTHING in the cameras range of sight that could have reflected back on it from the flash. And, if it were dust, they would be in every picture, right? The objects range from small to very large and are almost always bright white with a small hardly noticeable dark spot in the center. I'm not sure if the passing wind storm (the big one going across the Midwest right now) has anything to do with the discovery of these guys or the overall quality and quantity of the orbs last night but for some reason I'm getting a slight feeling it does. You can see some pictures of the different types of orbs to the right. There will be more soon.

And on another note: Another blogger posted an article a while back explaining that most orb photos are of dust particles and nothing more. Well, I could take pictures of orbs every night and tell you that they aren't just dust. For example, since when can you take a picture of a bare yard at night with NOTHING in it and then ask the orbs to go to the center of the yard, and THEN see orbs in the next picture? You make the final call on that one...
